Youth must pass an interview process with a panel to be accepted for entry. Acceptance is a case by case basis. Youth must go through 90 days detox before entering the program.
Program has a one-time entry, so youth must be sure that they are willing to complete the program and adhere to its rules and guidelines before the program can commence. Re-entry upon completion or dismissal is prohibited. A 8:00 pm curfew is effective unless actively employed and work hours restrict capability to adhere to the curfew. Youth 16 to 17 years old MUST attend school between the hours of 8 am to 4 pm or be ejected from the program.
What's Our Focus???
Program is focused on stability of youth. This goal is achieved through the following process:
Check-in emergency shelter must be in by 5:00 pm in order to have a bed for the night. Final check in is at 8:00 pm. Attempting to enter after 8:00 pm forfeits your bed. Dinner and breakfast are provided. Youth under the age of 18, must attend school between the hours of 8 am and 4 pm, otherwise, truancy will be reported. Shelter must be clear by 8 am, unless attending training, housing or employment services.
Program is a “1 year” program that provides life skills to provide a stable transition to independent living. Transition to each phase is a case-by-case basis of review and approval of transition to the next phase. Each phase is meant to be 3 months, but may be extended.
